Career Air Force Employment Newswww.careerairforce.nic.in is the Indian Air Force’s official website for recruitment. Indian Air Force is inviting online applications through www.careerairforce.nic.in from adventurous male Indian citizens desirous to start their career in Bharatiya Vayu Sena as Commissioned Officers in Flying, Technical and Ground Duty branches for courses commencing in July 2015. Indian Air Force is conducting Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) 2/2015 and the last date is to apply online through Career Air Force website is 27th June, 2015.

AFCAT 2/2015 Course Details:


AFCAT Flying Branch – No.200/16F/SSC/M
Age Limit: 19 to 23 years (born between 2nd July, 1993 to 1st July, 1998)
Upper age limit for commercial pilot license holders is 25 years
Pay: Rs.72150/-
Physical Standards: Minimum height 162.5 CMs with correlated weight
Educational Qualifications: Graduation in any discipline with not less than 60% marks in aggregate + must have passed 10+2 with math and Physics.

AFCAT Technical Branches
No.199/16T/PC/M - Permanent Commission
No. 199/16T/SSC/M – Short Service Commission
Age Limit: 18 to 28 years. Born between 2nd July, 1988 to 1st July, 1998
Pay: Rs. 63400/-
Physical Standards: Minimum height 157.5 CMs with correlated weight

AFCAT Aeronautical Engineer (Electronics Branch)
Educational Qualifications: B.E / B.Tech / AMIE. in (L1) Physics / Engineering Physics (L2) Mathematics / Engineering Mathematics (L3) Engineering Graphics  /  Engineering  Drawing  (L4)  Electrical  Engineering /  Electrical  Technology  (L5)  Control Engineering (L6) Microprocessors (L7) Digital Electronics / Basic Electronics (L8) Computer Networks (L9) Information Technology (L10) Network Theory Design (L11) Telecommunication Systems  (L12) Electronic Circuit Design (L13) Radar Theory  (L14) Switching Theory (L15) Instrumentation (L16) Microwave Engineering (L17) Antenna and Wave Propagation (L18) Electronic Devices with minimum 60% marks

Educational Qualifications: Graduation in any discipline with not less than 60% marks in aggregate

Accounts and Logistics:
Educational Qualifications: Bachelor of Commerce with not less than 60% marks in aggregate or M.Com. / CA / ICWA with at least 50% marks.

Education Branch
Educational Qualifications: Post Graduation with not less than 50% marks in any discipline
