BSF – Border Security Force is one of the forces of Indian Armed Police Forces which guards Indian territorial border. It was established in 1965. Educational Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech in mechanical engineering or Diploma in Mechanical / Marine / Auto Mobile Engineering
Sub-Inspector (Master): 8 (Gen-6, OBC-1, ST-1)
Age Limit: 22 to 28 years
Pay Scale: Rs.9300 to 34800 with grade pay Rs.4200
Educational Qualification: 10+ 2 or equivalent with 2nd class master certificate issued by State or Central Island Water Transport Authority or Mercantile Marine Department.

Constable (Crew): 66 (Gen- 29, OBC-13, SC-3, ST-21)
Age Limit: 20 to 25 years
Pay Scale: Rs.5200 to 20200 with grade pay Rs.2000
Educational Qualification: Matriculation with 1 year experience in operating boats. In addition to these swimming knowledge and experience is required for these posts.
