Candidates joined as Yantriks in Indian Coast Guard can reach up to the rank of Pradhan Sahayak Engineer with pay scale Rs.9300 – 34800 + GP Rs.4800.
Age: born between 1st Aug, 1994 and 31st July, 1998 (18 to 22 years)
Academic Eligibility: Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics Engineering disciplines with at least 60% marks from a recognized institution.

How to apply for Indian Coast Guard Yantriks Batch 1/2016?
Candidates after ensuring their eligibility given in the notification can log on towww.joinindiancoastguard.org from 16th July to 23rd July, 2015 to apply online. After submitting online application take three printouts of the application form by visitinghttp://joinindiancoastguard.gov.in/reprint.aspx from 5th August, 2015. One copy is required at the testing centre along with age proof, mark sheets and other credentials while the other copy is required during the entire selection process. Admit cards can also be downloaded from same Indian Coast Guard web link from.
Selection Process of Indian Coast Guard:
Selection of Yantrik 01/2016 batch is done through written test, Physical Fitness Test, Interview and Medical test. The written examination is based in their discipline of Diploma and the question paper will be bilingual. Succeed candidates in the written examination will have to attend for PFT in which 1.6 K.M run in 7 minutes, 20 squat ups and 10 pushups should be done. Those who qualify these two tests will undergo a medical examination, after that the final list of selected candidates will be prepared.
